About Our Competition Hunts
Our competition hunts are a great way to experience the Haymarsh Hunt Club. There are 4 people per team and each team competes to take home the prize. 10 birds per team and lunch is included.

Payment of $340 is due upon arrival at 8:15. We will be heading to our fields at 8:45 for a 9:00 start. There will be table raffles (cash only) that you can purchase upon arrival. These will be drawn after lunch. We will go over rules and fields around 8:45 and then start on to our fields. There are no rules as to the type of shells/ammo you bring.
Your team of 4 will have 3 hours to get all 10 birds. You will have from 9:00-12:00 to get as many birds as you can from your field. Scratch birds count so you may end up with more than 10 birds. You are allowed to use more than 1 dog running at a time but no more than 2. This is a team competition so we should be working together. There can be no more than 4 shooters on a team. You may have 1 additional person as a dog handler if needed. This is a coed competition but it is not required per team. Please let me know if you have more than 4 people so I can account for lunch. Additional lunches are $10.
At 12:00 bring your birds back to the club to be counted then we will have lunch. If there is a tie we will do a shoot off at our 5-stand. After lunch we will give out 1st and 2nd place cash prizes. 2nd place $40 for each team member, 1st place $60 for each team member. Also, I have reserved the fields for us all day so you can go back out after lunch if you choose. All other birds you get after lunch are at no cost to you.
